here she is. It only took an hour from taking the old one down...regaining my breath from the dust storm that occured....to hanging up the new one. I can't believe how simple it turned out to be. Just think what I could accomplish if I put my mind to it. I know, it IS scary to think about.
The fabric that I used was from the thrift store. I paid $5 for 5 yards. Now I can't decide what to do with the rest. Maybe some placemats. I am sure it will be awhile if it is anything like the curtain. lol.

Your new curtains are lovely. The warm colors blend in nicely. I can't believe you got 5 yards of fabric for $5.
ReplyDeleteNice job!!! I'm the same way....I procrastinate till forever!
ReplyDeleteThe new curtain looks great. I don't have curtains in my kitchen because I took them down because they were plain and blah. I still haven't made any new ones. I don't know if I'm going to. lol Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWow! That looks great, Lisa! I had to chuckle at what you said about the "dust storm" when you took the old curtain down... I took the one over my kitchen sink down to wash it a few days ago (I'm ashamed to tell you how long it had been since it's last washing...) and I nearly choked to death! *LOL*
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about procrastination... it would scare me to death at how much I could get done if I would just "do it"!!
The curtain looks great! I love the picture of your cute doggies by the way. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI think the curtain looks terrific. Your kitchen is so pretty. I love signs too and the cabinet tops are great. You could do a runner perhaps? Great deal on the fabric!
ReplyDeleteAmy :)
