One more day.

What a week. Boy were we busy tonight. The dinner bell sure wrung tonight. Everyone came at once and then....Nothing.... Weird.
I have been fighting a head cold all week and I am about to have a fit. My ears are ringing and I think it is time to go to bed, so I can get up and do it all again....One more day..... I hope you are enjoying your evening. Hopefully, I will get to post about my thrift store FINDS tomorrow night. I just wish I had found some energy at the thrift store when I was there. I definatly need some extra energy. If you find any please send some my way. Night

I think it is time for a new curtain.

This is a picture of the edge of my kitchen curtain. The sun has faded it so that it is white instead of the deep red that it is supposed to be. I have been telling myself to make a new one for months now but procrastination struck again. But today was the day. I made myself get off the couch and get started. Mainly cuz my husband was watching nascar and I wasn't interested. lol anyway, moving on....

here she is. It only took an hour from taking the old one down...regaining my breath from the dust storm that occured....to hanging up the new one. I can't believe how simple it turned out to be. Just think what I could accomplish if I put my mind to it. I know, it IS scary to think about.
The fabric that I used was from the thrift store. I paid $5 for 5 yards. Now I can't decide what to do with the rest. Maybe some placemats. I am sure it will be awhile if it is anything like the curtain. lol.

This is just a shot of the top of a few cabinets. I just love signs. This one makes me smile.

What will today bring?

I just had to post a picture eventhough I don't have anything exciting to talk about. I just thought I would show Maddee and her new teddy bear. She loves to lay down on my flowers. She finds them very cozy. She had been sleeping and I called her. When she looked over at me she still has a leaf stuck to her chin. I just love this girl.

Well, the advil is kicking in, the cramps are not so brutal. Hopefully, today will be a fun, creative and very productive day. I wish you the same. Lisa
