The old girl is home

I dropped off my sewing machine last wed. Larry was able to pick it up Sat. They replaced the bobbin case and tuned it up. The needle threader is working again. I am happy to have it home.
I was soooo close to picking out a new one while I was at the store. She was a really good saleswoman. However, clearer minds prevailed.

I did finish the quilting on Paula's quilt. I am happy with how it turned out. I will be glad to take it to her when I go to work on thursday. I hope you are all having a good evening. Stop again soon. Lisa

  1. YAYYYYY I am happy that you have your sewing machine back. Alas, mine is still a hostage at the fabric store. LOL I can't wait to get it back. And that is a lovely quilt. Thank you for following my blog. I hope I can make it interesting :) How is Trixie? Is she doing better? Take care, Janet

  4. Thank you Lisa, for you comment on my blog. It is now 1:17am. And I just finished my 4th sweeping and shoveling of the porch and stairs. Princess Downy had to go out one last time. The snow has slowed down now We probably got a foot or so. :) Will be warm in cozy within the hour. Take care, thanks for stopping by.

  6. I have that same weakness Lisa, and The sales lady at the Viking shop in Knoxville knows just which buttons to push to make me sweat.
But I just can't replace an old friend with a new one just because it's "old".... yet... *hehe*
Love the quilt in the last picture- so so pretty.
