We stopped and got some pumpkins. I can't believe how much I enjoyed this. Really, you would have thought it was Christmas. It probably felt like it was Christmas by the time I made up my mind. There were so many pretty things.
I put a few by my back door.
A few on the other side of the door. I also found a stem that was broken off out in the parking lot. I have a stem now to make a fabric pumpkin.
A few out in the yard. I still have one to put out by the front door. I usually put most decorations out by the front door. However, we don't ever use our front door...so it seems like I never get to see the pretty decorations, so this time I reversed it. I need to rake, cut grass and do some weeding around my decorated areas but I just had to put them out anyway. I have had a very fun day off. I hope you are enjoying your day also.
I'm glad you had a fun day. Its so true about the decorations - I do the same thing. We should enjoy the decorations ourself. The past few years I decorate the back porch more than the front of the house. The only person that comes to the front door is the mailman!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE doing simple little things like that!! Your decorations are beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteOoooh- I love those pumpkins, Lisa! Especially the blueish gray one- we had one of those last year and I can't remember for the life of me what it's called...a "luna" maybe? Anyhoo, it sure is pretty!
ReplyDeleteDo you toast the seeds from those pumpkins when you take the decorations down? I did for the first time last year and they were DELICIOUS!
