Home from the vet

They took blood and are going to call tomorrow with the results. She thinks she might be diabetic. It was good seeing how much Maddee was playing today. She was like her old self. She hasn't had any more episodes that we have seen anyway. Thanks for the nice comments you have left. I appreciate the nice words. I will let you know what she says tomorrow.

I am off to work on the big bag of wool I just got at the thrift store. I love the 50 cent day. I got 10 items tonight. Thanks for stopping by. See ya soon. Lisa

Ps. the baby birds are doing well. They are flapping their wings. Hope to have a good picture tomorrow.

  2. Oh I hope Maddie is ok. Julie at Dog Trot Farm has a dog with diabetes if that is the case--she would be a great resource. Can’t wait to see a new pics of the baby birdies :)

  3. I hate it when my any of my babies are sick. Especially if you don't know what is wrong and they can't tell you anything. I hope is Maddie (and you) are feeling better soon.

  5. Hope everything is fine with Maddie - At least with a diabetic animal it's so easy to give them a shot rather than a pill. Now this may not have anything to do with the price of eggs but years okay my Nicky (a cat) had seizures now and again - it's heartwrenching to watch and one time he wasn't coming out of it an ran him to the vet - we had tests done over and over and nothing was wrong. Then one day at work there was a visiting PM who had several kitties and we were talking about things - well her cat was prone to seizures too and she found out it was from bleach - So thinking about it - Nicky used to love to roll in the white wash after I did laundry and I don't use a lot of bleach but some. Well from that day on the laundry was put away immediately and not left out for him to play in and he never had another seizure (he lived to almost 18!) Not saying that's what it is but I always noticed Nick would love to "smell" cleansers and things under the sink.

  6. Oh forgot to mention - the vet wasn't onboard with my theory but hey - first five years of his life he had seizures - no more the last 13!
