A week in the life....

This week has gone by so fast. I believe this is a picture of the daddy bird feeding one of his little ones. What a difference a few days make when you are talking about baby birds....
This is a picture from yesterday morning. This is one of the babies. She was out of the nest and on the bottom of the cage when we got up saturday. She looks so pretty.

This is a shot of the nest today. The first one out already made her way back to the nest by herself. She is the one on the edge of the basket.

The other two are really close to leaving the nest also. The last one to hatch still has a way to go. You might have to enlarge the picture to see him/her. The feathers are just starting to develop on it. I am anxious to see the one in the middle. It has nice colors. I hope you are having a nice day today.
So far all is going well with Maddee. As far as we know she hasn't had another seizure. I am so happy about that. Talk to ya soon. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Lisa ~
How quickly the baby birds go from ugly to cute. Are you keeping all of them?
Good to hear that Maddee is doing well.
    Hugs :)

  2. I think we are keeping all of them. We will see how everyone gets along. I do plan to sell the other pair. I don't need 3 bird cages to clean. lol. I really do enjoy watching them though. Thanks for stopping by. Lisa

  3. Those little birdies sure grown quickly. And I'm glad to hear that Maddee has been doing well.

  4. My goodness~ the little birdies sure are growing up fast, Lisa!
Glad to hear Maddee is still doing okay...
Hope you and your Hubby had a wonderful Valentine's Day~ did you do anything special? We stayed in and had spaghetti (Hubby's favorite) then fell asleep on the couch with Lily between us. I think the days of romance are over... *giggle*
