Tomorrow is my day off and hopfully will be an exciting day. My mom and two of her friends and I are going to Berlin Ohio. There is a wonderful shop there that I love to visit. It is called the Country Craft Cupboard. It is filled to the brim with samples of the patterns that they sell. I love to see the projects in real life. They have a wonderful wool section. I am hoping that when I leave that store I will be filled to the brim with inspiration. lol I don't doubt that I will be filled but I don't know if it will help me accomplish anything though.
I usually try to make a game plan before I visit this shop. I tend to get easily side tracked and then I can't make up my mind on what I should purchase. I really shouldn't buy anything. I have so much already. Maybe I will be good next visit. lol.
I think I will focus on patterns. I have plenty of fabric and wool. I need to have a plan on how to use up some of my stash.
I am excited about taking some pictures of the fall beauty that seems to be unfolding in my neck of the woods. Hope to have some exciting tales to tell tomorrow night. I hope you have some also. Good night.
Ooooh- that sounds like a wonderful trip, Lisa! We have a place like that in Pigeon Forge, TN (about an hour from me) it's called the Pattern Hut and they have the cutest Annie doll patterns (the really prim ones) and all kinds of quilt patterns too. I love going there, but only if I have lots of cash because it's hard to leave with just one or two things!
ReplyDeleteOooh, have fun. It's smart of you to have a plan. I always get sidetracked and end up coming home with lots of pretty things I don't need, but just want. In fact, it happened yesturday! I stopped in to the local rug hooking store for a bit of purple yarn I needed and ended up with 2 extra skeins that were just too pretty to leave on the shelf! lol
