Today was my trip to Berlin, Ohio. It takes us about an hour to get there from my place. I can't believe what a beautiful day it was. The weather couldn't have been nicer.
The Quilt shops had a ton of inspiration...just what I was expecting. We visited I think four different quilt shops but my fav was The Country Craft Cupboard. I found some scraps of wool and a very cute pattern. I am excited to work on everything....

I have been eyeing this pattern for a while now. I just love her designs. I saw the pattern and then realized that I already had a book done by Teri. Small world huh.

I also have been wanting to try this lil twister thingy. I kept telling myself I didn't need the pattern...I could figure it out...but I have never fiddled with it...soooo I got it.
I think this will make an easy and great baby quilt for my friend at work. Has anyone tried this?

Last but not least, I just loved this bundle of wool. Such pretty fall colors. So many ideas...Where to start..... Wish me luck.

  1. Sounds like a wonderful day and I soooo love that wool. I am a sucker for those colors. If you looked at all the rugs I have ever done you would see a color pattern. You are so talented to quilt also. I am trying to get my daughter to quilt but no luck.

  2. Wow- so many goodies, Lisa!! I don't know if you feel this way too, but on the way home from buying things like that I just want to look at them all the way home! (Hubby thinks I'm crazy, I guess...LOL)
By the way- I meant to tell you yesterday, but I love your music playlist... I haven't heard some of those songs in forever!

  4. I've never made it to Berlin. I have heard it is a fun, beautiful place filled with lots of things to do and look at. After growing up in southwestern Ohio you would have thought at some point I would have made it it up there! Maybe on my next trip north!
